Welcome to Maythorne!

Maythorne is a historic hamlet with a converted silk milk and workers cottages. Its picturesque caravan site is edged by the River Greet and is within easy reach on foot to the near by market town of Southwell.

The hamlet features 2x fishing lakes, an award winning cafe/restaurant called The Old Lodge, a livery yard and working farm.

Maythorne is located near Sherwood forest, Norwood Park golf course, The Minster Cathedral and Southwell Workhouse owned by the National Trust. The Southwell Trail links Maythorne to nearby Kirklington and Southwell and is ideal for walkers and cyclists by offering some beautiful views.
